Wicked Horror

Help

Directed by the great Mario Bava, Black Sunday remains one of the most striking directing debuts in all of cinema and one of the most influential horror movies ever made. A stylish, dark and gothic thriller full of chills, Black Sunday, enshrines Italian horror at its best.

Black Sunday (1960)

Trashy horror movie warning! Two brothers born into a family of black magic argue with the rest of the family over their late father's estate. The siblings eventually begin using black magic to curse the entire family. Rated 1-star for all its trashiness!

Blood of the Man Devil (1965)

In this stylish Italian Gothic chiller, a reporter accepts a wager to spend All Souls' Eve in a haunted castle. As night falls, vengeful spirits of the violently deceased haunt and threaten him, while Barbara Steele's ghostly presence offers his sole chance for survival until dawn.

Castle of Blood (1964)

Trashy Classic Sci-Fi film! A criminal thinks he has unlocked the secret to the perfect crime. Namely, blaming all of his dastardly deeds on the sea monster that is a figure of local urban legend. The perfect murder becomes the perfect mess when the creature turns out to be fact rather than fiction.

Creature from the Haunted Sea (1961)

The Great Vorelli is famous far and wide for his skills as a ventriloquist and hypnotist. Audiences are also enthralled by Hugo, his eerily lifelike dummy. Together, the pair is about to attempt their greatest performance yet, conning an heiress out of her fortune in the process.

Devil Doll (1964)

A 19th-century village is menaced by the ghost of a mad Baroness's deceased child. A doctor, a policeman, and a sorceress must team up to protect the terrified townsfolk in this stylish Gothic chiller from maestro Mario Bava.

Kill, Baby... Kill! (1966)

Sterilox, asexual ambassador from a distant planet, comes down to earth in search of feminine breeding stock.

Kiss Me Quick! (1964)

Journalist Hans comes to the small town near Amsterdam in order to write a story about a macabre museum in which female statues in morbid situations are displayed on a mill wheel. Wonderfully atmospheric, dreamy, and genuinely creepy, Mill of the Stone Women is a worthy watch.

Mill of the Stone Women (1960)

Trashy horror alert! In an Ed Wood classic, a writer and his companion seek inspiration in a cemetery drive but are captured by the Ruler Of The Dark and The Black Ghoul. Bound, they witness hedonistic rituals of the living dead.

Orgy of The Dead (1965)

Carroll Baker stars as an American widow who arrives at her late husband's luxurious Italian estate and surrenders to an orgy of menage-a-trois, madness, and murder. Writer-director Umberto Lenzi boldly fills the screen with bourgeois depravity, daring sexuality and unnerving twists.

Paranoia (1969)

A Trashy Sci-Fi classic! In this Italian film, former wrestler Superargo squeezes into his bullet-proof tights and takes on the villainous scientist who has been abducting prominent athletes and replacing their real hearts with mechanical ones so he can control them and take over the world.

Superargo (1968)

An attorney is called to a remote castle to help a businessman settle his estate. Upon arrival, he discovers his potential client has already been dead for a year. The deceased had interest in the occult, and according to his widow, the manor is haunted by spirits he conjured.
